Replacing your New Jersey medical marijuana card is handled through the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC) patient portal. Since March 2024, all patients have access to a free digital ID card, so you may already be able to download a replacement instantly.
Steps to replace your card:
- Log into nj.gov/cannabis
- Report your card as lost, stolen, or damaged within 24 hours
- Download your free digital card (PDF) immediately from the portal
- If you also want a physical replacement, pay the $10 fee ($5 with government assistance)
- Physical card arrives by mail in 7-10 business days
