Missouri Medical Marijuana Doctors Online: Telehealth Evaluations & Renewals

Missouri evaluations on MMJ.com are conducted by Dr. Johnathan Miller, MD, licensed by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. The Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) accepts certifications from an MD, DO, or nurse practitioner who is licensed and in good standing in Missouri.

Electronically. At the end of the 15-minute audio-visual video visit, Dr. Miller files the Physician Certification Form directly into the DCR registry (mo-public.mycomplia.com), so there is no PDF for you to upload. You then log in, complete the patient application, and pay the DCR fee.

Thirty days. Under 19 CSR 100-1, the physician certification must be dated no more than 30 days before you submit the application on the DCR portal. Book the visit inside that window rather than months ahead, and expect DCR to process the application within 30 calendar days.

The DCR Patient ID card fee is $28.92 for the July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 fee year, per the official DCR Fee Schedule (health.mo.gov/safety/cannabis/fees.php). The card is a digital PDF valid for three years; Missouri does not mail a physical card. The $149.99 MMJ.com visit is separate.

Yes. Renewals use the same video visit and electronic filing. DCR opens the renewal application 60 days before the card expires and asks that it be submitted at least 30 days before expiration; a 30-to-45-day-out visit keeps the certification inside its 30-day window and leaves DCR its full review period.
